Whenever I go online I get this feeling that my every movement is being watched. Recently I checked out a product on a site - and now the product I researched pops up at intervals when I am on mylot. Seems like google has eyes everywhere. At first I thought my friend was being a bit paranoid about her privacy online. She told me that she covers the camera which is on the top right hand corner of her laptop with a piece of tape every time she opens it up. I think I will do the same, even though I am not sure how the camera can affect me negatively. What are your online privacy concerns?

I think my biggest "fear" online is having passwords stolen. It's happened to me. Now I change my passwords monthly. Here's a song for you.

Covering the camera on laptops is a very good way to keep yourself safe, as it's very easy these days to hijack one's webcam. It is kind of scary, that's why I am a bit cautious and don't reveal much about myself online. Even photos you post on social media taken from your phone can pinpoint your exact location as it's saved in their metadata.

@thehousewife I didn't know about the photos we post on social media taken from our phone can pinpoint our exact location. Only thing I knew was that they can locate us only if we put our location while making posts. Anyways, thanks for the information. Will be more cautious next time.
