What I Found Out when "The Lost Ogle" told me about Marijuana in Oklahoma

In a list of several things going right for Oklahoma in the new year (thus far, anyway) the popular blog The Lost Ogle (named after a family with several of its brothers serving as TV-news-anchors) mentioned the upcoming State Question that will ask us to decide whether-or-not marijuana should be legalized (medical). But that's not 'what I found out' I found out that the root of the word "marijuana" really is "Mary Jane!" Kinda. My source on it says that the name was "influenced by" the Mexican version of 'Mary Jane' ([i]Maria Juanita[/i} ... I thee-eenk ...); but the meanings of those two names work perfectly: 'Rebellion' & 'God was Gracious.'
