Today I received the blood pressure monitor, ordered from Amazon this week. It's a wrist cuff and exactly what I needed, to ledger blood pressure reading for a week. My doctor's appointment is the first week of February, so this will be completed by then. It's a pretty nice little gadget! Photo: by myself

They are so handy to have. My hubby has to monitor his for a week before a doctors appointment. I also have an oximeter so I can check the saturation levels in my blood.

Good luck with it! I think the arm cuffs give more accurate readings.

May not be the most accurate but anything is better than nothing. The main thing is that you have a device that can check you regularly at home. And I commend you for getting yourself one.

I don't like the ones that go on the upper arm. It's hard to get them on correct.

Good you got your own gadget for bp. Blood pressure is just a horrible thing. Every day we need to monitor it we should have tabs without slipping a day. Good thing is we got gadgets like this for which we can monitor ourselves and be in control.

I hope your blood pressure is good. I'm getting mine rechecked on Friday. It was high when I was in the doctor's office a couple weeks ago. So I'm hoping it's back to normal. I really don't want medication again for high BP.

I'm taking a medication, for high blood pressure. I let things bother me on the inside, when something bad happens.

Perhaps you just need an adjustment in your BP medication or a different type? I'm sure your doctor will figure it all out

@dgobucks226 She told me to come back in a month, so the medication can be adjusted, as you've just said. I was on two different medications, that didn't work.

Good I am glad you got one. It should help! I sold one recently..My BP is usually pretty good, but it was elevated at the dentist..I think it was too many holiday goodies.and I need to watch my salt intake more than I have been. It should go back down soon.

I had one for my arm and couldn't get it on straight. This one is simple, just velcro around the wrist and touch the button.
