Measles

Received letter telling me that due to a measles outbreak in uk my 12 year old daughter needs to receive immunisation as there was quite a few who didn't receive full dose when they were young. This will be fun, not, she has a needle phobia, she had the hpv vaccine last year and I didn't hear the end of it for a week. Will make her appointment tomorrow. Get it over and done with. Wish me luck guys. Well I booked her appointment, it's 1st Feb, I'm gonna need lots of luck. She has all her jabs but it's nightmare taking her

I also have needle phobias but again for her own sake, she must have the jab. Good luck to her.

Good luck! There were some cases of Measles here in our area as well and I also had it. However, the cases may not be enough for it to be classified as an outbreak.

Better to just get it over and done with. No one enjoys getting shots but they are a necessary part of life. It is better than getting the measles!
