A tiring weekend

It was a tiring weekend for me, as I went out on Saturday and also Sunday.
We went to buy new clothes for Chinese New Year yesterday. My kids, including my baby, were having fun trying out the clothes. I am glad all of us were able to get two new clothes each, except for my husband. We can mark this off from our Chinese New Year todo list.
Today we went to the Taiwan International School again, as my husband's university alumni is having the sports competition there next weekend, today they are having rehearsal there. We just went there and had fun in the school. The meeting and rehearsal took four and a half hour. I am glad my kids were having fun most of the time, and I didn't have any challenging moment.
I am just very tired now as my baby didn't sleep when he came home, so I didn't get to sleep even though I wanted to. He finally felt asleep when we went to the park in the evening. Hopefully I can sleep early tonight.
How's your weekend? Is it tiring or relaxing?

I'm still in my weekend! so far its been relaxing and fun. Going to church today and then relaxing today and tomorrow (kids got off school then too).
I'm glad the kids were in good spirits during those meetings and rehearsals! It can be a challenge for long hours away from home! glad it was fun!

I think here in Malaysia, many Chinese still keep the traditional Chinese custom though I might not follow all of them. Yes, I agree with you. As my baby grows older (he is one and a half year old now), and I actually feel more relaxed than before, especially when he can play with the elder siblings well. As for my two older kids, most of the time they can just take care of their own if I need a rest or need to take care of the baby. I know I won't be at this stage forever, so I am also seizing these moments as this is my youngest, I am sure I will also miss these challenging moments.

@youless I heard of that too, but I am not sure about this generation, as some of us don't practice it anymore. Do you all still celebrate Winter Soltice? Some Chinese here consider this as a big festival, but I have heard from some friends, they don't celebrate it or they don't even know about it.

@toniganzon You must be a productive person. I like to be lazy sometimes, though I like to be productive too.

@kaka135 I don't like being lazy, I consider it a waste of time. Especially napping.

Lately my weeks are quite tiring.
When we are tired and our babies don't sleep It is so desperate.

I hope you get some restful sleep.
My weekend was good. Accomplished a few errands, spent quality time with hubby and kids, and got some good rest and sleep.
