Medical Appointments And Birthdays!

Hi again everyone! I miss you all, but, the busy continues, 2 weeks ago was a dentist appointment, just a little filling (oh boy when sensation returns after that injection) but I survived, lol! Are you scared of injections?
Last week Wednesday I went to the doctor for my full physical and I wanted some things checked, there was quite a bit of blood pulled (vampires have nothing on them), luckily I am not scared of needles. Are you scared of needles?
I also went for an ECG and my heart is fine, thank goodness. This month is going to be a month of medical appointments and birthdays, including mine, tommorow is my Mom's birthday, yay! I am however wondering if I will ever catch my breath. How is your January going? I will try to be around more soon. Take care everyone.

Nice to see you! My dentist has a great antiseptic that numbs so much I don't feel the injections anymore. My problem is reapplying lipstick to numb lips. Lol! I use natural childbirth tactics when I get blood drawn. It helps, but I'm so happy to skip out of the lab when it's over. Wishing your mom a very healthy, happy, and wonderful birthday!!!!!!! My January is so wonderful that it's a huge blur!

My veins are huge its gross how they stick out sometimes like a mans do but they always have a very easy time finding my veins. But then because I have a bleeding problem I will bruise really bad afterwards as the blood bleeds out inside. I have to hold the spot right where the blood was drawn for a long time to avoid that huge bruise going all up and down my inner arm. My sister though they can never find her veins.

I am extremely scared of injections and no matter how many times I've taken shots, I still get nervous each and every single time I see one.

Happy birthday to Mom.
I believe I may have told you before that I almost faint when I have blood taken. No idea why as the sight of blood, even my own, is not a problem.
Glad the sparkly swinging brick is in good working order and all is well medically.
Yes, do try to be here more often. You know I enjoy our silliness and do miss it when you're not around

i need to see the dentist, too. i'm not scared of needles, but my veins are hard to find so it takes a while. sometimes they have to try the other arm. the most blood they took from me was when i donated for my mother, it was my first and last. advanced happy birthday to you and your mum!

Congrats on getting a clean bill of health on your medical checkup! Glad to hear you are not afraid of needles or injections. I don't have issues with them either! Happy birthday to your mom, a happy birthday to you too! I'm guessing you are going to be 28 this year!

Oh I am late getting back to you on this, sorry, but thank you for the birthday wishes! There were developments medical wise, but it is something I can control. Aw, I wish! But sure, if you want to believe I am 28, we'll leave it that I am 28! Lol!

i am not scared of injections and i think i am already used to the needle pricks everytime i have my blood tested for PTPA.
it is nice to know you have a perfect heart. me, i am having palpitations now.

Nothing fun about the dentist
I dislike those injections and the numbness. The drilling is not to bad. Actually what is annoying is the cotton they put around your tooth when they work on it.

I'm glad to know that your heart is fine. I'm also happy that you have busy schedules in January - including your birthday. By the way, can we know your birthdate, so all your myLot friends - including me - can make you a birthday wish.

Hi @tmosby :-), I really liked "How I Met Your Mother" Ted and Robyn were an interesting couple. My Birthday is on the 21st January, so depending where you are in the world I am heading into it or already in it

Well Happy birthday to your mom and to you when yours comes up. I hate doctors and dentists and can't stand needles. I always have to have blood drawn from my hand because they can never find the veins in my arms. Glad everything is good for you.
