Time to make some soup

I have a soup recipe I wanted to try this weekend. I think I will go do it now.
Hubby stayed up too late watching sports last night and so is sleeping in.
I do not sleep in very well so I have been responding to discussions and answering notifications.
The recipe was for taco soup, with ground beef. I have ground turkey and that will work just fine.
It is not really from scratch as it will use lots of canned beans and tomatoes and corn. It is a taco soup and my mouth waters thinking of it. I could have cooked the three different beans from scratch but I did not. It has corn, I will use some from the freezer. Tomatoes and Rotel will go in as well.

We ate it at lunch and this evening as well. It just seems to get better. I froze some for another day.

I have ham from Christmas frozen to do that as well. We often eat beans.

I think this could be made with veggie stock and be just fine for a vegetarian person.It has great flavor.

Luckily there are only two of us here, although hubby says peas get awfully mushy in soup. Yours sounds delicious.

It is very good. We ate it twice today. Hubby wanted it in his lunch box for tomorrow. I will freeze some for another time.
