How I spent my weekend

Friday was my nephews birthday so after dinner we went over for cake and ice cream.
My daughter and I watched a DVD she bought of the band My Chemical Romance. I enjoyed watching it with her! They had some great music and seemed like a great group of guys.
My boyfriend, his son and dog came over and spent the night. He and I started watching a new series on Netflix called The End of the F***ing World. We finished it up the following day. I loved it but he didn’t seem very interested he mostly likes comedies.
I woke up in the morning to find vomit in the kitchen, on the living room floor and pull out bed. His dog got in the garbage and ate a chicken wing.
I made everyone breakfast and lunch. I was in chatting with my man about propane tanks and burnt the first hamburger really bad.
My daughter went to my sisters house for her sons small bday party from 1-4.
Today my daughter is going roller skating with a friend and my mom is heading to Florida with her boyfriend for 6 weeks.
The photo is of a potholder my mother brought back for me from Mrytle Beach about a month ago. It matches my kitchen curtains!

Lol I would rather clean up pet vomit over human vomit. This was pretty gross with all the chewed up bones in it and a plastic lid to a water bottle. It's honestly probably lucky for my boyfriend that his dog did throw it up or it might have landed them at the vets.

oops, i thought it was a coaster. i remember being served tea in a spa. the small tray the cup was served on said "my cup of tea is coffee." i hope the dog is all right.

I love My Chemical Romance, they had some terrific music. I used to listen to them back in college.

@Srbageldog my daughter told me the one guy cheated on his wife with a young fan and one member got mad and kicked him out of the band but since the brother was in the band he said no the guy wasn't kicked out so they got in some big fight and ended the band.

@shaggin It is sad. I never knew much about the inner-workings of the band, or when they broke up, although I figured they must have because they stopped putting out new music.

So many ideas shared here to comment on, I'm sure I'll forget something.
At first I thought you woke up and vomited in all those places, but then realized it was the dog. Was it because he got the chicken bone stuck in his throat or something?
Are your curtains the same colors, or do they have some of the same pictures in them?
Sounds like a short series if you finished it so quickly.
Nice that you could bond with your daughter more and spend so much time with family.

It seemed like a really short series to me too. Each episode was 20-45 minutes and there was only 8 episodes to the season if I remember correctly.
My curtains are a vanilla color on top with a stripe of brown across the bottom edge. They had different cups across the vanilla part with the words cappuccino, coffee, latte. My mother bought them for me years ago and brought me the pot holders now to match.
I laughed so hard you thinking I was throwing up all over. I edited it to hopefully clear up the confusion anyone might have. There was a plastic water bottle lid on with the vomit so I assume that all upset my boyfriends dogs stomach. Gross to clean up but better it came out or she likely would have wound up at the vets.

@MarshaMusselman That’s true but these aren’t part of the kitchen decor set. Most coffee theme items are similar colors. Here is a picture I took of my kitchen curtains to show you

@shaggin Cool that your mom was able to find something to match the curtains after all these years. You usually have to find matching things within the same year since things get changed so quickly most places.

cool design. when that dog is over there if you can't teach it garbage is off limits, you need to set it up high or in a room the dog can't access. it will eat something like that it can not pass or throw up.

@LeaPea2417 hmm wow I was thinking 16 was man that time flew by watching him grow up. My daughter is 13 but with the eye condition she was born with most likely will not be able to drive.

@shaggin If we don't keep ours covered, then Dodger will sneak up and grab some goodies out of there.
I have to limit people food because that will really upset her stomach. Every once in awhile one little piece of something, is a holiday for her.

Dogs do have a habit of getting in the trash. I hope the dog will be okay. I like the hot pad. It sounds as if there was a lot of fun this weekend.

His dog is fine thanks! Even though it was gross cleaning up the mess its better it came out as chicken bones can make them very sick I’ve heard. Next time I will keep the garbage up on the stove while she is here. Scents are very tempting to them.

She's 13 so it's not as big a deal as when she was little but she did have a good time!
