Count Your Blessings!

I have spent some time today thinking about my blessings. They are so many. I also think about the unfortunate, the homeless, the poor, the destitute and pray God will help them. I try to give to different ministries that do touch people in need. I don't get much money and God knows that but what I do get I give from. For $2.22 per week I can touch a young persons life through our church, so I used to give $2.00 per week now I make sure that extra .22 cents is given so they can reach at least one young person through me. I know its a small amount but its all I can afford. Whatever God gives me through my husband, through a part time job I have or through a generous friend I give 10% or a little more. Like this week instead of $4.00 tithe I have $5.00 to give next week as I didn't make it to church today. One person can make a difference in this needy world we live in. What do you do to help the poor? Even if all you can do is pray then that is your offering to God. There are many on Social Security and cannot afford to give money as I said "prayers" are so much more valuable than money. So I encourage you, if you can't give financially then pray for the poor and needy, God will work through your prayers to touch people lives who have money that can afford to give generously. If you want to give and don't know who to give to I encourage you to go to CBN.com, this is a ministry that helps many people in many ways. I've been familiar with them for many years and would encourage anyone to reach out to them. They also have a place on their website where you can send a prayer request and they do pray for you and your needs. If ever you have a prayer request please message me and I will reach out to you and pray for you. Picture: Bing.com By Kimberly Cass

As you know, I don't pray. But I do always hope that every person that needs help will get it some how so that their lives will turn around. We send items and money to people, even if we don't have it to spare, and or are having money issues ourselves. We babysit for family and friends. We're just always helping some way.

@Courtlynn You are obviously a very compassionate person and I have no doubt that God smiles when He looks at you as you act like Jesus in many ways and put some Christians to shame, including myself. I hope one day you'll be able to receive God's love through His Son, Jesus as He gave His life for you and the whole world. He did not come to judge the world but to save it. He loves each and every one of us no matter what! Bless you!

I tithe, but sometimes you come across someone who touches you. I sent a little bit to a mylotter who needs surgery (seriously legit person with health problem), but lives in a country where she can't afford it. She didn't ask me, but she was trying to figure out if a gofundme would help her. I really hope it does. I used to give to Voice of the Martyrs because it was a charity close to my late mother's heart. But once I got on disability I mainly just tithed.

@AmbiePam Bless your heart for helping that myLotter who needed help. How do you find out who they are and get her address? Do you know how shes doing now? I used to give to Voice of the Martyrs too but things changed for me financially and I had to change things according to what money I get from my husband. I also just recently started a job I do its averaging out to every other week cleaning for a friend she pays me $25.00 per cleaning. I give to my Bible study group who help people in need as it comes to our attention. I buy Human Kind water here and there that supports a ministry that helps provide clean water to people who don't have clean water to drink. Any ways we can only do so much. We can pray for those who have extra money to help as they can, right?

@sharon6345 Bless your heart you are very compassionate and I'm certain God preferred you to send that money to that myLotter than church. He is smiling at you for sure. I pray those who are able to help will help. How were you blessed the day after, I love to hear testimonies of what God does!

@Butchcass4 She has posted pictures of her situation. It's @JustBehm and she has kept everybody updated on trying to earn enough money to have her surgery. Her poor little arms. I asked for her PayPal email address, and sent it that way. I always send my survey earnings to my paypal, so I used some of the money I had in that account to give to her.

I help the poor offering food and giving them the clothes still good that we do not use anymore. I think that those are basic things they need.
