A few days ago, @jstory07 wrote a post about cars, and that made me think about my dream car--a Chevrolet Corvette. Though, not necessarily the one in the picture, though I think that one is beautiful. Last summer, there was a White Corvette quite often in our apartment's parking lot, the owner didn't live here, but visited from time to time. Coral and I were always happy to see it, because it was a thing of beauty and was candy for our eyes. One day, Coral leaned in to see the inside through the tinted glass windows, and realized someone was sitting in the drivers seat just inches away, since she could see the lights from their phone. She felt embarrassed for quite some time over that one. I still laugh when I think about it. That car brought back my love for Corvettes, and I think every year they create them more beautiful or as beautiful as the ones before. What's your dream car?

A Mercedes Sprinter van that I can convert to an RV. Please visit our Corvette plant and museum here in beautiful Kentucky. That’s right, Corvettes are made in Kentucky....and no, they don’t run on moonshine.

Is that the Corvette museum that developed a sink hole a few years ago?

@FourWalls That was very scary, and it seemed to happening all over the place back then. I assume they have it all fixed up again and read for visitors.

@misunderstood_zombie I never cared a lot about cars, my husband had many different cars, but for me the important is that he drives me where I need when I need and I hated his sport car because they are low and very uncomfortable.

As a beginner driver I want a smaller car that is easier to park and perform manoeuvres while driving in the city. Something like a Polo maybe. I don’t care for the speed or the design. Just for something easy to drive.

That's a good idea, something easy for you to drive. I would probably be scared to drive a Corvette, but it's just a dream.

I like Jaguars and we had an old one for a while.I'm sure other motorists treated us differently in the Jag and would let us cross lanes or whatever more easily than in a standard car.

@misunderstood_zombie We were really surprised. I was a bit hung-up about it as having a Jaguar looked like we had lots of money but really we just got a really good deal on one that was being auctioned.

I never thought of that, but I bet that happens a lot, and the more expensive the car the more courtesy of drivers around it.

My dream car(s) would be a Jag and a Bentley, but the one I would love at the moment is the Dodge Challenger.

I would probably be scared also. I would sell it and buy my second dream car, a red jeep.

Mine has always been a Cherry Red ragtop convertible 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang. Which is when they first came out, and since I was born in Aug 64 I have always thought this would be so perfect. Not sure if I ever owned one and it was fixed up I would probably only want to ride in it to take it to shows.

I really don't have a dream car, for me a car is just something to get me from point A to point B. When I was young I wanted a Firebird.

I guess that I must be pretty boring. I honestly do not have a dream car, other than to dream that my car is sparkling clean and there is no rain in the immediate forecast. Vettes are nice, I have some family members how own some, as well as a friend and a former neighbour.

That is hilarious! I'd die of embarrassment. I don't mean to brag, but I have had many of my dream cars. My favorite is our little sports car.

I used to like Corvettes but I think they are way overpriced and I don’t like the body style these days. I have a cute little convertible that I love these days. I don’t really want anything else.

I would probably sell a corvette, and buy a reasonably priced car, but it's just a dream car. That's nice that you have a convertible.

I don't have a dream car, I enjoy driving but never really thought about my dream car.
