Incredibly Beautiful

Hubby and I went out for a leisurely drive to explore the next town over.
We got home in time for me to get this image of the sunset. I find it incredibly beautiful.
You may notice some yellow dots in the image. Those are actually the streetlights around the traffic circle. Some people, like hubby, call it a rotary. I call it a roundabout. What ever you call it, there are street lights to mark it.
About once a year a semi tractor trailer rig knocks one of th poles down. It takes forever for them to get it fixed.
It was not overly warm this evening, but it was warm enough to enjoy a drive. I hope you had a peaceful evening.

@sallypup I know they say that instead of coming to a full stop traffic can just keep on flowing, but inexperienced people struggle with them a lot.

In my childhood there was one in downtown Oklahoma City, but now they have caught on everywhere. I don't get it.

@GardenGerty Supposedly round abouts help with traffic woes but I think that they cost way too much and do way too little.

Hubby spent quite a bit of time in Rhode Island growing up, and he calls them rotaries. We had one in downtown Oklahoma City but it was the Classen Traffic Circle. Mom hated it.

I do not have the tropical greenery you have, maybe. It also may be that the sky was wanting to placate us, cause it is now very cold, windy and full of snow just twelve hours later.

It does give the feeling of fire. I am glad it is just the sunset though. We get a lot of color in our sunsets and clouds in this area.

We were looking at churches, as well as some of the houses we did not buy but considered. I will need to go back and get a picture of a Historic Hotel there, that is often used as a venue for weddings and graduations, etc. This area has gorgeous limestone structures.
