I just bought tons of apples (gala, pink lady, and fuji). I'm making apple sauce in the crock pot! But fresh is best!

If eaten about an hour before your meal the apple will make you feel full and consume less when its mealtime. I do that before I leave work so that I don't mindlessly shove food into my face the first few minutes that I am home and it seems to work.
