Wow, Oh Wow Amazon ,What??

So, I had written on here that I was told that I got another free trial of Prime starting January 14 which is what they told me when I had asked about it a few weeks ago. I had a big order and some things that I wanted pretty quickly..but I thought I would check on the Prime again before I ordered anything..of course the person I was talking to said I was not eligible for it..in fact told me they weren't even offering Prime Trials now!!!!! ???? So, as per usual he (the agent)tried to buy me off with a 5 dollar credit..to make a long story short, the order was costing a lot for shipping, and would have been delayed..so I decided to sign up for Prime, but I decided to complain about the issue,. Anyway, I told the new rep what I had been told and the fact, I had seen the Prime trial was still being offered..and I wanted it..She said that she saw in the notes where I had been told that by a rep a couple of weeks ago, the fact, that I was eligible for Prime today..and she said she would make sure I got it! So, anyway, I am happy..but I think the moral of the story is if you do not get the results you want the first time on Amazon go to someone else..The first rep..I talked to today was incompetent..and wrong! He did not bother to even read the notes, and telling me Prime trials were not being offered! Sure, yeah, he's a Prime Specialist..right..and I am the tooth fairy. At least I got what I wanted..

Yes, me too..I think my Amazon gift card balance covered everything now, plus I really want to watch The Big Sick on Prime.

Various things including a phone card, small drywall kit plus primer and rosewater great for improving skin tone.

@thislittlepennyearns Before you order, you should check to see if you are ordering from one of the covered categories on SB. You could get some cash back..

Yay, that's great that you called back and got it for free, sometimes I will also ask for the supervisor, they are more prone to set things right.

Sometimes, but not usually at Amazon..however, the second rep took the time to actually read the information that was in the file..sometimes that is all you need!

@snowy22315 This is so true, my last job was phone work, and some of the employees there, never looked at the messages. That was a terrible job and I almost had a nervous breakdown working there.

I never stop at the first difficulty, I always try to speak to someone else, a manager if needed.

Usually there a manager will back up the employee..but sometimes just getting a fresh rep will help.
