Applying for a tester job / myLot

A friend recommended me to join this site which I can work as a tester. I am a software developer, hence I have been testing the software or website for years. I think this should be a good part-time job for me, especially I can work from home on my own schedule. Software development job is good, but sometimes it requires much time and effort, and many times I have to rush for it and neglected my kids. This website pays only when we have found bugs, so I think it's quite good for me. I have taken the first test and found a few bugs, and all are rejected. I am going to take the second test soon. I really hope I can pass this time, and get the job. It'll be so much helpful for my family if I can get this job. Do you know any testing site like this?

I get website testing offers every now and then, but it's not a full time thing and it's not that frequent. Do they require you to record audio/video for the test?

It's good that you got website testing offers. Do you mind sharing where you got them? I don't need a full time job, as I'd like to get a part-time job where I can work from home, so I can take care of my kids.

We can submit screenshot or screencast, but I think it's without audio.

I have never heard of a site like that but don't rush. Wait until you aren't in a hurry, your house is quiet with no distractions then retake the test. If you are rushing or worried you won't do as well. Good luck!

Why did they reject the bugs that you found Did they explain why they thought they were not bugs?

Yes, they explained that as the bugs I found are not considered as functional bugs which they are looking for. There are different scopes and I haven't get myself familiar with that yet. It's actually my fault.
