Nobody Believed Me About the Conference Table

I’ve mentioned a few times in the morning meeting, especially as the weather has turned colder, that a good pick-me-up would be to amble into the conference room and take a few strolls around the conference table. One lap, I said, is 1/100th of a mile (meaning it’s about 52.8 feet around the table). Today was material prep day for our conference. That involves getting all of the goodies we’re putting in the tote bags situated on the conference table so we can ‘stuff them’ tomorrow. One of the things we have is a three-item packet of paper that needs to be manually collated. I did that for about four hours today. The screen grab of my iPhone’s pedometer shows the results of putting over 400 packets together. Nobody at work believed me about the conference table being good for exercise. Now they do.

You got that right! If the doctor asks me if I’m walking all I have to do is show him the pedometer.

LOVE that song. I did a “walk songs” countdown once, and this was the top song on the list. My mom loved this song, too! Oh, yeah, the boy can play, indeed.

That's great, I sometimes walk around in my apartment, and I bet my downstairs neighbors hate me.
