I don't know what exactly I was expecting, even with the trailer. However, I do know what I'm expecting now. If this movie doesn't get an Academy Award for Best Picture, Best Male Lead, Best Supporting Male, Best everything, I'll be surprised. This is a story about how P.T. Barnum's Circus got started. It's a love story at the beginning. It's a story of the devotion P.T. Barnum had for his show and those who worked in it. It's a musical, so yeah, better get Best Original Score as well. Director Michael Gracey Screenplay and Story written by Jenny Bicks Screenplay by Bill Condon Starring - Hugh Jackman as P.T. Barnum Michelle Williams as Charity Barnum Zac Efron as Phillip Carlyle Zendaya as Anne Wheeler And a whole host of other actors and actresses that made this movie a must see. You see New York City in the late 1800's or early 1900's, a time when women wore full length dresses. It's a time of radical change and the people who didn't want that change and the one person who was going to make that change forcing his way into the minds, if not the hearts of the people of New York City. I loved this movie and give it a full five stars - two thumbs up. If you haven't seen this movie, it's worth the ticket price.
