Around 3 pm it began to snow and has not stopped, this is the fines snow I ever seen, its not flakes at all. So far its about an inch so that means Alabama has shut down. We should be just fine at home all week, till it melts. I have to work Friday andd I think it will be safe to drive then. How is life at your place?

That is good, to much rain is as bad as snow.

This might be the storm that passed us by since it was headed East. I hope you stay safe and warm.

It did light snow all day. We got a few inches and so far there is a 2 hour delay for my daughters school.

@andriaperry lol I can see why as they wouldn't have the preparation for it like we do here. We've gotten over 6 inches now and school is closed.

Snow is nice only if you can stay inside. Here it is very humid today, but partly sunny.

Welcome to winter. I just read another state in the south was seeing unusually cold weather, but no mention of snow yet. Life here is doing good. We have below zero temps for wind chills and feels it too, though the air temp is above zero.

@andriaperry I'm sure you don't with it as crazy as it's been for the whole country. For me, I'm loving it. It's what winter should be - minus all the severe wind chills.

Texas got some snow last night, but it was only a small amount and melted pretty fast. I’m longing for warm weather.

No snow, no rain for a day or so. We are having unseasonably warm temps in the 50s daytimes and mid-40s at night.

I awakened to snow....at least two inches and it's still falling. Also...it's windy so there will be a lot of drifting snow.... Today will be a business as usual day.

Life is pretty good here although one of our lights for the concert has blown and now we've wrecked the fitting trying to get the light tube off so it's buy another tomorrow.

Now that I think about it, I don`t mind a little snow because I could not deal with fires and the smoke, and land slides.

It taste like ice that you get in a drink. Its cold and this snow is fine and blows around. Sometimes its heavy and sticks to everything and gets hard, like a thin crust of ice.

We don't have snow in our country. But there's cold months which are December and January. I feel like getting sick during these months. I wish there will be snow here. It will be an awesome experience.
