I'm thinking too much @JamesHxstatic

You knew it would happen. I am addicted to looking at houses that could maybe fit the bill, yup, Albany, good old Western Oregon.
I just spotted a doozy. One stupid photo so I e-mailed the real estate lady to fix that huge issue. This doozy is located in the historic district. Its supposedly fixed up and ready to go- it was built in 1900!! Total character. Painted to a pretty T on the outside. The house is only 500 square feet smaller than what I currently live in. Down sizing cause of age popping up? So we'll see what the agent has to say.
How stupid. Thinking about looking at a house on line cause I can't just zip down there in two hours. And yet I am enamoured with the character houses, not the ranchers. I have lived in a rancher. A snooze.
So that is what my busy brain is doing tonight. Visually snacking on a house that I have no real way of checking out.

@rebelann Hens are such a problem. I love those silly gals. The black one follows me around like she thinks she is a cat. And yet hens do stop laying after a while. So you either just keep feeding them until they lay down and go to hen heaven or you make stew.

@shaggin I'm just done with two Spring in January days and from this vantage point I wonder about the idea of moving. Stupid, cranky older age is trying to move in on me and from that point, is it good for hubby and I to stay put? Plus there are many other factors that pull me away from this bit of acreage.

@shaggin Where are you at? Florida has other weather issues, too. I can't imagine moving more than a state away cause of the animals. I am not a fantastic driver when it comes to strange freeway systems and fast traffic. I refuse to even think about the animals stuck in cages on an airplane.

I believe there are three parts to the historic district. Can a person sit in one state and buy a house in another state? I wonder if there is a mental illness attached to that, @JamesHxstatic?

@sallypup Now that may be a distinct possibility!

@sallypup we bought a house that is 12 hours away from us. My husband bought it without ever stepping foot in it. I hadn't been in it since 1975
