Our old truck, was on its way out as of yesterday. Today, Jay has a whole new future planned for his faithful friend, beside a salvage junk-yard. His friend Tim, who's an ace mechanic, has volunteered to repair Jay's little truck for him. Instead of buying another second hand vehicle, this baby will up and running again, real soon!

Men have a strange attraction to and affection for their trucks. Thought that was only a southern thing. Nope. Happy he gets to keep it and spare himself the whopper of a payment.

@just4him Our neighbor man has a snow plow he drives. I laugh, when he acts like he's on the 'Indy 500!'

@just4him Yes, it will cost $300 to fix, in comparison to $3,000 for another old truck.

I am glad that the truck did not go to the junk yard or wherever trucks go when they are done for. Good for Tim to want to fix it.
