Tomorrow is the D Day for my 1st interview after 10 years staying at home as a housewife.
Initially, I had another 1 interview over the phone but was ignored because of my age. The 2nd was supposed to arrange an interview but was cancelled because of my age again. This is the 3rd interview but the 1st one that hopefully will be successful. My teen will be accompanying me for the interview venue because I am not familiar with the location which is a foreign land for me.
I sincerely hope that everything would turn out well tomorrow plus no more sulky face from my teen. I have trouble travelling with my teen because I often lost my way and did stupid actions.
Wish me luck, OK?

I hope you don't get rejected this time because of your age.

How was the interview going on? Did you get any job that you want? Good luck to you!
I was wondering why age is an issue. Moreover, they should already knew your age before calling you for the interview.
I can't imagine after being stay-at-home mom for so many years, and I will return to the career world. I might just continue to stay at home and be a freelancer or work online, or start my own business. I am not sure yet, but this is what I am thinking now. Who knows I might go back to office and work perhaps after 15-20 years, since my youngest is not even 2 years old.

@peachpurple You have got a job? That's good! What job is it? So now you are busier and won't be able to spend so much time online, right?
I don't think I will get back to the career world so soon, though I doubt I will go back, as I am homeschooling my children, so I will need to at least wait until my youngest has completed his high school study, which may be around 17 years old. By that time, I will have reached the retirement age.

when you youngest turns 10 years old, you will feel that you need to get in touch with the real world, not at home . I couldn't communicate well with my teen because I am lost touch of the real world. Now I had found a real job, I am beginning to understand why stay at home world is totally different from the real world out there.

I wish you the best of luck. I think that is silly that they didn't follow through with interviewing you due to age.
