so i got a cell phone awhile back.
honestly,i really didn't want one.it's not that i'm anti-tech,just i had no need at the time.
but my mom almost got us stranded somewhere because she couldn't remember a number,and that was that.
but often when i'm doing something,like out in the yard,i don't have it on me.
i'm not tethered to it like some people.
but anyway..i ask people to text instead of call,because i don't hear well.my bro was appearently doing that today-did you get my text,did you get my text?
no..i TOLD you i don't always have it on me.
was it important?
"no"..
then why didn't you just tell me?
people can be so lazy now.if you're not glued to it,they look at you like you got 3 heads.

Yeah, this is true, what is kind of frustrating though is people you know they always have their phone on them, don't respond to a text and you are like what??? However, some people are like me and don't always hear the text come in, and don't see it until later.

well i am glued to mine because of my condition. i don't use it much. just keep it by me cause i will be ignored if i just yell, they say they don't hear me at times. even when my daughter is here in the house she claims to not hear me, because she is usually on her phone playing a game or on facebook. so if i text she is more likely to see that.2 people like this

Now that's kind fo weird how people look at you without a phone. I have my phone with me all the time except when I'm in the bathroom as I'm a busy businesswoman that needs to be reachable all the time.

Yep, people certainly are lazy nowadays...and I'm guilty of being lazy. Sometimes it's easier to text the boyfriend in another room than it is to get up and go tell him something face-to-face. But if it's important and he doesn't answer, I will get up and say it to his face (or yell for him.)
