I swear I am. This morning sucked. My car ran out of gas. It isn't insured and I don't have a license, and it isn't insured, but I have to drive my kids to the bus stop and pick them up. I live on a huge ranch and I never leave private property, but it is still about 2 miles away. Anyway, my mom works on the property so I called her to pick us up so my daughter wouldn't miss her bus. My mother was in a bad mood, dropped us off, and made me walk home. Now, normally, I wouldn't care. But, I have lungs problems, in fact, I have to get a biopsy because they think it is cancer linked to my autoimmune disease. I didn't have water or an inhaler and I was stopping every few minutes to throw up. It hurt, and my mom only needed to wait 3 minutes for the bus to pick up my daughter, but she was in a hurry. It took me 45 minutes to walk home...in my pjs. I immediately called Social Security to schedule an appointment to apply for SSI. I waited for over an hour on hold, then it took about 30 to make the appointment so that I can apply. One day at a time... I need to get my kids into a house before I get worse. That is my main goal.
