Trying a new chowder recipe tonight.

We have been watching a lot of food related youTube videos this last week and came across something that I wanted to make. So tonight I am going to try to make it and see if it turns out.
The recipe is salmon chowder, and I bought all the ingredients last night. The other half and I are currently smoking the salmon that will go into the chowder and then I will get the rest of the chowder cooking. I will be making garlic bread to go with it, and I am so excited!
I really hope this lives up the the expectation I have for it.
Whats the last new recipe you tried?

Oh the PUmpkin chili I talked about on here. It was OK I would eat it again but not that particular recipe. It had turkey in it and I didn't like that with the other ingredients.

I wouldn't think the turkey would go well with pumpkin.

It was good, there was nothing left. Tonight is venison stew. Its in the crock pot now.

Never have tried Salmon chowder.though I do like Salmon.Hope the dish turned out well and you enjoyed it.
