Good afternoon. A disaster morning while preparing making pear pie for the company tonight. I was peeling and slicing the pears. Then it struck me.Hot flashes, sweat, light pain in the chest, dizzy.Call Mike as he escorted me to bed. Saying that my hands is very cold.Thought I was having a heart attack. He finish slicing the pears and put them in the fridge. I slept for a couple of hours.Felt pretty good. Mike cancel the dinner party tonight. Till tomorrow night.Just in case. Finally got the pear pie together and done. Yes it was a scary morning for me. The pie came out good as you can see in the photo. Back to best and rest some more.

What type of “filling” do you use with pears? Will it taste similar to apple? You rest up and take care of yourself.

That sounds rather worrying. Very glad you feel OK again now but perhaps you'd better get checked out to see if there was something causing those strange symptoms. Sounds like the male menopause!!

My man, I need you to slow it down a bit. You need to to remember you are not 85 anymore which for you is like 45 for most people. Getting old sucks, and think you will live to 200, but pace yourself my friend. No rush anymore, life better be free and simple for you and people should be cooking for you, unless you just enjoy. Me, I would be so in your ear for all that knowledge and wisdom you have. I think if I lived in your neck of the woods would be sleeping on the porch and you may have to call the cops to escort me off the premises.
