business tycoon Lakshmi Mittal, who owns the world's largest steel company Mittal Steel, has emerged as the richest man in Europe, his wealth estimated at 24 billion euros, a study has said. The study undertaken by the Luxury Institute, a research organisation specialising in the super-wealthy, claimed 53-year-old Mittal now tops the list of 50 wealthiest people in Europe.
