I’mnot a touch typist; I can type reasonably quickly but I mostly look at thekeyboard whiledoing so, and only look up every sentence or two. This hasneverbeen aproblemuntilnow, when I think I must have wornout my keyboard spacebar. I type two or three sentences andthenwhenI look at the result, I find that inmany places the words are all run together into one and then I have togo back and insert spacesin the places between words where they are missing. If I don’tcorrect it, then the result is as you see here.
It’s driving memad! None of the other keys are affected. It’sbeen happening for a few weeksnow. I think the first thing to try will be a goodclean, in case there are a load of crumbsor something stuck under there. After that I’mnot sure what else to try.It seems aminorproblemanddoesn’t really justify anewlaptop but it is really infuriating!

I don't know but @Owlwings seems to make a reasonable suggestion.

You can try the suggestion of @owlwings about cleaning your keyboard or you can buy a bluetooth base keyboard

Have you cleaned your keyboard recently? Sometimes cleaning the surface of the keyboard can push tiny bits of loose dirt and dust below the keys, even on a laptop, where the keys are better protected than a normal keyboard. Even if you haven't done anything to the keyboard, this might be the cause of your problem.
It's worth getting a can of compressed air (computer shops sell them and they're not expensive) and giving the keyboard a few well directed blasts.
If that doesn't work, then you may have to take a laptop to be cleaned and serviced. A standard keyboard is pretty easy to clean yourself (and cheap enough to replace if you don't fancy doing that).

I wouldn't be able to cope with that; my laptop would have found itself hitting a wall by now. Thankfully I don't have a laptop.
