The most sought-after 50p in UK circulation - Kew Gardens

I am sharing with you here part of my coin collection. One of the rarest has to be the Kew Gardens 50 pence piece. I would imagine that very few are still in circulation, or quite possibly none! The reason for this is that most people know they are valuable, and they are mainly in collections these days.
Changing hands for up to £100 in circulated condition they are obviously a premium value coin, and I happen to own 2 of the things! I did cheat and bought these from another collector, but I have listened to offers recently.
The problem with this type of coin is that they are copied, and the copies are killing the coin collecting game as it can be hard to tell the difference between a genuine and fake coin. With this particular coin it is very easy to spot a fake if you know what you are doing.
I hope you enjoy my Kew Gardens 50 pence piece in this image. Do you collect coins?

Thanks for your response. Yes I do enjoy the design of this coin. It is a shame because it has an impact on the value of genuine coins.

I sold mine on Ebay and it only went for £8 so I think you have to be lucky enough to find someone who actually wants to buy these things. I actually sold a rare £1 coin for more than that and I am even finding people will go for non rare £2 just because they are printed with a special design.
