occasion is almost always misspelled here, even some nurses spell it wrong. why, even short words are misspelled by me because i type fast with my 2 index fingers, and typographical errors are always frequent to me.

Well, you can always auto correct it, don't worry about it much.
And uh, don't worry about it too much.

@aureliah You should always doubt the gadget. Some suggestions coming from the spell check are complete nonsense. The spell check is only useful for people who already know English reasonably well. If beginners believe it all the time, they may end up with more mistakes than before.

I misspell often but I don't let it bother me. Happily, people sometimes think it is a typo. and life goes on.

@aureliah Ah, then install a spell check in your computer. Then this will sure help.
Also, as a writer challenge yourself to learn a new word each day...and your vocabulary will increase. I think I'll take this advise myself too

@Gita17112016 thanks for that. Yeah learning new words everyday is what I need. Especially now I’m planning to start academic writing

'Occasion' is still not right!
Try and think of a phrase to associate with the spelling, something you will remember - maybe for tomorrow you could make up something like 'Take our mother out ridge-running one week'
Or else of course just use a different program to write, as others have suggested!
