Met my new next door neighbor today .. Omg ... she told me shes a welfare mom cant find work .. and she has a coach purse.. even asked me if I had change for a 100 bill .. Then invited me to go clubing with her this friday.. Omg all on welfare money .. oh forgot to tell you she had better cloths on than I do.. and both my husband and I work.. and her kids were eating pizza out of a Pizza Hut box.. on Monday pizza. must have money that girl . sad our government

It is very frustrating when lazy people abuse the system, I can agree with that. What if there is more to her story? But then again I didn't see her so I can't judge either.
I rock Michael Kors and MAC make up because my boyfriend works for Dillards so he gets everything super cheap. Im also receiving food stamps temporarily because I unexpectedly lost my job last month and my new one doesn't start for another month.
So someone could easily make the same judgment on me.
Maybe she got the purse as a gift, maybe she's had it for 3 years and purchased it when she had a job. Who knows!

I totally get your point and totally agree (on the one hand). But on the other I feel like 'hey if our politicians can rip us off of millions then I just can't begrudge the little people'. Sadly many people will never know the joy of providing for and taking care of themselves and their responsibilities.
But it still angers me.

Your government should evaluate those who are on welfare. BTW, the photo above should not show the faces of the children, they do not know anything on what's going on!

I see those type of people all the time at work. They complain that they don't have any money and are driving Hummers and carrying Coach purses. Must be nice to live off my tax dollars.
