New red umbrella

As I mentioned elsewhere, I lost my umbrella when I went out Saturday, and it was raining today. The rain stopped long enough for me to go out and buy a new one. I stopped at one store but they didn't have any. So on I went to Giant Tiger.
I didn't see any umbrellas but when I mentioned that I wanted to buy one, the sales clerk told me they were in the Plus Size section. Who'da thunk?
Anyway, I did get one, a nice deep red one, for $8. But it's the cane type, so I'll still be on the lookout for a folding one.
And just as I left the store, it started to rain again.

Well, isn't that nice and helpful. Unfortunately, I don't have a cell phone, and I'll bet that umbrella costs more than $8.

@BarBaraPrz Yes it is. But when you buy it, you won't lose it again, at least not fast.

Luckily, it's not windy today. I hate it when the umbrella turns inside out.

@rebelann Yeah, don't you just hate it when you find something you want but it costs an arm and a leg but you're only willing to spend a pinkie?

Hello there so what was the umbrella look liked? I wish you'd share it with us. I'm glad you had a new one. You know I've been thinking of buying a new one, but so far my old one still works even though some parts of it are broken.

@Shortypie
Some people have gotten strong ones but usually ones that do not last are sold here. I decided not to get them anymore Lady_T.

Especially as I'm not a Plus Size so wouldn't go in that department.

I am sure you were happy you were able to buy an umbrella before the rains came. Good timing.

Yes, they don't get in the way as much when it's not raining but you've got one with you just in case.
