It was snowing here earlier this morning but not it is freezing rain changing to heavy rain later this afternoon. It is shaping up to be a messy day. Things are going pretty good with me. Feeling so much better this week. My blood pressure has been staying good since the weekend so that is good. I haven't been up to a whole lot so not much to tell. I hope you are all well and have a great day/night ahead. How has the winter been in your area? It has been pretty good here so far.

We got quite a bit of snow last night. Thankfully we managed to get all pick ups done before it really started to snow. We're supposed to get some freezing rain, so schools and daycares are closed for the day.

Glad you're feeling better. We're well here although Vince is a bit 'off' but can't put his finger on exactly what's wrong. He has no energy and says his head is 'floaty'. He is having a thyroid test next visit to the doctor. Perhaps that will throw some light on the problem.

I hope they figure it out soon so that he can start feeling better. When my BP is high my head gets 'floaty'.

We had a COLD spell (highs in the teens, wind chills at or below zero [F]). It was comparatively warm for a couple of days (highs in the high 50s/low 60s [F]), but a cold front came through last night...with a thunderstorm!! I'll be elated if we're done with the very cold weather. I can tolerate it around the freezing mark, but that "wind chill minus anything" talk hurts my middle-aged body.

Last Friday our weather turned mild. On Sunday and Monday it was terribly foggy and we had an almost all day rain on Monday. This morning there are clouds and the sun peaked out, which is nice since it hasn't been out since last Saturday. It is going to remain above average until the end of the week. I hope that your freezing rain either bypasses your area all together or it comes as either snow or rain. That ice is scary stuff!

I know we're having a bad winter in Florida when it is colder here than in England. In addition, In just the first month of the year, we've already had more days below freezing than we have had in the last five years combined. That's just too much for us Floridians to handle all at once.

That sounds like a messy type of day. We had cooler temps for over a week, but it's back to sunny and warm again. At least our Florida electric bill will be low this month.
