Have you eaten hummus?

Do you like It?
Yesterday, I was with my 3 Thai workmates in the city, who had also free day like me. We were having fun talking with each other about our work and our coming vacation this year.
The restaurant we have been to was a new one and they have variations of food to serve. As I was not so hungry for a warm meal, I just ordered pizza bread rolls. These rolls were served with hummus.
The waiter asked me if I wanted to have the hummus with my rolls and I said, "well, I will have it as I don't know how it taste." I didn't like it but still eat it with my bread rolls until my workmate said that she didn't like her avocado dressing. I love the avocado dressing and now I am looking for a recipe online.
I don't know how the hummus is made of but I will search it online. Do you like hummus? How about the avocado dressing?

I like it, but I have diverticulitis and too much of it tends to irritate things.

I have made three different recipes for hummus and I just don't like any of them. The ones from the store are delicious! Most hummus recipes are mostly garbanzo beans (chickpeas) lemon juice tahini and a few other things added in to make different flavors such as red peppers or spinach etc.

i think i tasted hummus when i worked in Kuwait. even the chapatti of the Indians, and the Shawarma of the Arabs.

You have worked in Kuwait? As what? I have not heard of chapatti. I thin k I have eaten shawarma already but can't remember the taste. Thanks @ridingbet.

I love hummus! I like to make my own. It's main ingredient is chick peas (also called garbanzo beans)

Never tried hummus but they do make it ready made and you can buy it at supermarkets.

Hummus is one of those things that I will eat it if it is around but I won't go hunting for it. Mostly because the smell makes me sick and the texture isn't the best. It tastes good but ehh I rather something else if I am given the option.
