A Nap and Four Chapters Later

The good news is I got to the pool this morning. I enjoyed beautiful 90 plus degree water and a hot tub.
Then it was on to shopping. I was almost out of potatoes. I've been going through a lot of potatoes, so decided on 3 ten pound bags of them. That should last a little while, I hope. I also got 7.5 dozen eggs, two cartons of Cashew milk, and twelve small cans of tomato sauce, no salt added 100% natural from Hunts, and two bunches of bananas.
I tried sitting down at the computer when I had it all put away, but that proved fruitless as my yawns were many.
Nap time. It turned out to be a two hour nap. I didn't realize I was that tired. When I got up I started potato soup in the crock pot. Seven potatoes, one large onion, and five strips of uncured bacon, no sugar added, cut into small pieces, with half a carton of almond milk, and lemon pepper seasoning by Mrs. Dash. I just had a taste and the almond milk is perfect for taste. Now to get the soup finished so I can eat.
In the mean time I've worked on four chapters of New Horizons. I still hope to have this one finished by the end of February. We'll see if that happens.
I have classical music playing on YouTube while I work. I thought I would give it a try, as it said it's good for studying. After growing up not liking classical, and being married to someone who only listened to classical, I've gotten used to it, and it does help me get my thoughts down as I work to edit what I've already written before continuing with the story. There is also a musical selection called Classical Music for Brain Power - Mozart Effect. Since there are times when I can use all the brain power I can muster, that one might also prove beneficial. It amazes me how much of it I remember. I haven't listened to classical music since my divorce in 1994.
Now, while everything is cooking and I'm taking a break from writing, I'm going to interact here and see how your day is going. Thanks for reading.

That sounds like great productivity on the book! I used to do that too when I was a student. There's some tracks on Youtube "ambient music for studying" those seem real good for doing things while listening, seems to help you focus

Your day sounds good! I am thinking of cooking potato soup today too, but I usually just add some carrots and tomatoes into it, sometimes a big onion too. I found it amusing when I read that you didn't like classical but your husband only listen to classical, I think couples always influence each other a lot, and it's good that you enjoy listening to it now. Hope you will get your new book completed soon.
It's morning here, and I just finished preparing breakfast and a sweet soup for perhaps tea time later. My baby just woke up, so it's time to leave my computer and accompany him now. I hope we can go to the park later, so I gotta wake up the two elder children soon.

I like most types of music including classical. It sort of depends on my mood as to what I want to listen to.

@just4him My brother-in-law introduced me to classical music. At first, I wasn't sure about it. Now, I love it!

I'm so happy for you. It must be a relief for your eyes.
It's the cover I'm hoping to use. I used a cover program for it.

oh my! I really enjoy home made potato soup. Its so delicious with a little bit of cheese too! I am still looking into the whole 30.
I really like the biblical diet and have been following that. Thankfully, I can have turkey bacon since it has no pig in it!
After hitting send, the image loaded. I love that picture! Really makes one wonder and want to explore!
