Trying to Get Back Into The Swing of Life / myLot

Well its been a couple of week since we buried my dad. I am just going to have to accept the fact that life will never be the same. Our family will never be the same. I am beginning to experience peace and believe I am getting answers from God, but the missing him will never subside. My mylot friends have been great about letting me vent and offering encouragment. Thanks for making this a safe space.

Things will never ever be the same but he will always remain in your heart. I lost both my parents when I was only 13 and life was never ever the same after that. Everything changed abruptly. It's been 27 years since they were gone and I still have them both in my heart and I still miss them.
