Doctors use hydrogen peroxide to help your immune system to function right and to fight infection and diseases. It can help to shrink tumors, help with allergies, Alzheimer's, asthma, clogged arteries and digestive problems. You mix hydrogen peroxide with other kitchen items and it will treat athlete's foot and nail fungus. It helps clear up sinus problems. Put it on wounds and insect bites. It helps clear up acne, rashes and yeast infections. Use it to clean kitchen surfaces. It will get rid of germs in your kitchen. It will clean your bathroom to. Removes mold and mildew. Cleans windows and mirrors. Gets rid of parasites on your pets. Baking soda is one item you can mix with the hydrogen peroxide to clean with. The picture is mine taken by me.

I had a co-worker who used it like Listerine - he gargled with it to kill sick germs and I had never heard of gargling with hydrogen peroxide. I never researched it . . . is that something people do ?

@jstory07 I was just mortified that he took sips out of the peroxide bottle like that (but he spit it out of course after gargling). Yah, I've seen it as a product ingredient.

So in order to help with Alzheimer's, asthma, clogged arteries and digestive problems I'd have to drink some of it?

I'm not sure I would either @jstory07 but how else could it help Alzheimer's, clogged arteries and digestive problems? I'm going to have to do a little research about the safety factors of ingesting Hydrogen Peroxide, but I do use it to disinfect the toilet.

My mother would put it on cuts and it would fizz. She would say that that proved it was killing all the germs.

It's called " agua oxinada" or " agua oxigenada" in the Philippines. It can be used as water purifier in extreme survival situations but you will have to know the right dilution since it could be dangerous.

I use it to disinfection wounds, to treat acne (it helps dry up zits,) and to clean with sometimes. My dad used to gargle with it, and I have also gargled with it before, but I didn't especially enjoy it.

I had absolutely no idea it could be used in so many ways! I had heard dentists use it to clean tools but I don't know if that's really true.
