What to do when you're bored

A post by @nomus24g prompted this discussion about being bored. He asked what is the most boring thing you ever did. I've hardly ever been bored, but probably waiting in a check out line in Walmart rates pretty near the top. I made up something to do to pass the time. You know how there are tons of items on each side of you to buy. Instead of deciding what I might want to buy, I figure out what item is the last thing in the world I would buy and wouldn't accept if it were free. It's interesting the things I really don't want. Like chewing tobacco. And flints for lighters. And sweet and spicy beef jerky. Anyway, it helps to keep me from getting so impatient in that slow check out line. Do you have things like that to do when you're bored or waiting?
