The McNanderlands had a house in rural Brisket County, Maine. One night, they began hearing strange unexplainable voices. Not long after, one of their daughters became possessed by a demon intent on causing the deaths of the entire family. With the help of a village priest and a team of supernatural mediums, they were finally able to banish the demon back into the hell from which it came. This is all based on a true story. The true story is the McNanderlands had a house in rural Brisket County, Maine.

A lot of movies that are based on true stories usually get some material in the movie that is what really happened by adding some material in the movie that may have been exaggerated to sell movie tickets.

Yep. The problem is you're never really quite sure which parts are real and what has been added to the story

I guess if some of it is true you can't argue much.

I've heard of similar stories, about homes with unexplainable incidents and noises. They actually saw things, that caused a family to pack their bags and move out. A lady on another site had things like this happen, every day. She posted photos of lights shining from the forest behind their home. They would see shadows of a man standing in their hallway. No, she wasn't afraid but they did get sick of it.
