Internet work or slave labor

I just read an article entitled “ The internet is enabling a new kind of poorly paid hell” It talks about companies like CrowdFlower, Clickworker, Toluna, and Amazon’s Mechanical Turk among others and says they are largely unregulated. They pay pennies and give unreasonable time limits for jobs that should take much longer. In other words they make you work faster, longer hours and pay way less than the job is worth. It seems like slave labor at times and I think many online companies take advantage of people like stay-at home- moms who need money to make ends meet. I am not referring to writing sites but to those internet companies that want you to spend most of your time doing jobs for nothing for which businesses pay them very well.
