What's going on the dinner table tonight? I want to know!
I am trying a new recipe tonight from Amy Thielen's The New Midwestern Table cookbook, Nebraskan Runzas. They are basically meat pies in homemade pastry. There is a lot of controversy in the comments/reviews on the online version of the recipe as it is said to be very "inauthentic". I wouldn't know as I'm not from the midwest nor had I ever heard of "runzas" before I saw them in this cookbook. Still, the recipe looks pretty good. I'm making the green beans in lemon vodka cream from the same cookbook to go with them.

Hubby and I will probably make burgers, assuming the patties have defrosted. Plus, we have seaweed salad and red caviar. Yum!

@NJChicaa My dad got us the seaweed salad from Costco and hubby's mom got us caviar. And hubby's customer gave him the beef patties (whole box of them lol)... We'll be eating burgers for weeks.
