Jogging in the rain

Yesterday morning it was cloudy. I knew it would rain but I strongly decided to do the jogging. After about 3 km, it started to drizzle, I didn't stop for a shelter as it was only drizzling. Luckily I had a plastic bag with me that I could use to cover my bag.The jogging track is the usual route I take; it's only 6.5 km, I didn't need my GPS to guide me. One km before I arrived, the rain stopped. I got half wet as it was only drizzling. I felt great after the jog but in the evening I felt a little dizzy. I thought it was because of my jogging in the rain. I suspected I got a cold, so I took medicine to cure me of the cold. I did you ever catch a cold because of the rain?

I don't think it's a good idea having exercise in the middle of the rain. that's just bad thing to do.

@yanzalong maybe next time bring a small umbrella if it's often gloomy.

I love walking in mild rain or slight drizzle, I still do it up to now and it does not make me sick, think it even makes me stronger, my only concern is the thunderstorms that at times come with it.

I never walk in the rain, it's the humidity that makes you sick.

@yanzalong The rain is chilly here in winter, you may guess you come home with a cold.

When I was much younger than now, I would go out in the rain. I felt great after that.

I hope you are feeling better now. Yes it might make you catch cold because your body is warm while running and suddenly rain pours makes it cold which affect our system.

I don't mind jogging or running in the rain. I am a lot more careful when I jog/run in the rain. Can't recall getting sick because of the rain.

I haven't catch a cold due to rain. I guess it's because I have a good immune system.

I thought you needed to have contact with germs to get a cold. I hope it doesn't get worse.
