Planting Spring Onions!

Since my wife watches a youtube video teaching Mums to make use of the kitchen scraps, she started using the roots of spring onions to develop more spring onions.
Well, she will just cut if off some inches from the roots and then soak it in the water for some couple of days before planting it on the soil.
Now, I am NOT buying spring onions anymore because she has enough of it in her garden.
She recycled mineral water bottles and plant those spring onions there...

Yes, we hope so too because there are months that spring onion is expensive on the market, so no need to buy! We are also treating the soil so they can grow healthy!

I was never lucky to grow spring onions. can we grow in water bottles. I will on youtube , can you share the link for that.

You can put it in a jar with some water then soaked the root parts for some couple of days, but make sure to change the water at least every 2 days. Then you can plant it in a healthy soil.
