So I was really happy because of the blue moon. Then, I read that the blue moon has nothing to do with the moon appearing blue. It's called the super moon because it's when it's most closest to the earth. The natives americans called the blue moon " wolf moon". It was nice to read this information. What do you think about the blue moon? Do you know anything about it?

I didn't know that, good to know. I have heard of the term wolf moon, I have a lot of Native American family members. You learn something new everyday :)

I know I can't see it today due to our cloud cover

However, a blue moon is the second full or new moon in a month. This moon is also a super moon because, as you said, it's closest to the earth in its orbit, and I understand there is also an eclipse of this moon today. From another post I read about it, that phenomenon hasn't taken place with all three happening at the same time since the mid to late 1800's. And I can't see it.
