Moving Statues Mystery

I watched a documentary last night about an Egyptian statue in a museum that kept spinning around. They also mentioned that the people who dug that statue were all killed in a mysterious way. Spooky! I was too tired to continue watching and my eyes closed. This morning curiousity was eating me. I wanted to search about it. And when I did, it turned out that the statue has been rotating due to vibrations caused by footfalls. And I couldn’t find anything about the dead crew. I wonder why mainstream TV channels put such cheap content on our TVs. How is your day going?

I remember this fact. I wrote about this years ago in Bubblews. The mystery has been solved in 2013
An ancient Egyptian statue which sparked whispers of an ancient curse when it was found to be turning on its axis inside its display case at a museum wasn't cursed after all, a TV mystery solver has claimed.

The documentary must’ve been made before debunking the supernatural claims. It still baffles me how this was on TV.

@Madshadi I followed this story because at the beginning I was fascinated. I was almost deceived when they solved the riddle.

As with all the other misinformation out there, it's good to research the facts before sharing. Like the post on Facebook that was widely shared.....January 1 fell on a Sunday......February 2 fell on a Sunday......March 3 fell on a Sunday.....etc. Did these people never stop to look at a calendar?

I didn’t really get the Facebook post thing but I do agree with you that we should double check facts. Even when they come from sources we believe are reputable

It would’ve been more interesting if it were a result of supernatural force moving the statue

I hadn't heard of this but isn't it interesting? Even for such an astonishing phenomenon there was a simple explanation.

@Madshadi Some would surely have wanted to call it a miracle or something similar.
