Breakfast at Home or On-the-Go?

January 31, 2018 7:44pm CST
Breakfast is an important meal for the day since it's something that will give us energy to perform whatever we need to do for the day, like school or work. For most of us who are always in a rush, we're not able to take our breakfast at home. Especially if we are already running late. For me, I usually take my breakfast when I get to work. I still have some time to grab a meal from a convenience store close by because I usually arrive 15-30 minutes earlier than my required work hours. So, I usually have my breakfast on-the-go, and that's during the start of my work in the morning. I miss having a good meal at home though, something that has been prepared by my mom. Weekends are something that I look forward to because that's when I am able to sit down at home, have my breakfast without rushing. During weekdays though, I am having my breakfast in front of my computer at work, munching on a rice in a box or a sandwich, and a cup of coffee, depending on what I want to have for that day. How about you? Do you usually have your breakfast at home or in the office, or on your way to the office? Or, do you take breakfast or just a cup of coffee and donut/sandwich?

Usually at home. I don't usually rush out in the morning so I have enough time to take my breakfast. And I usually take my breakfast at 9am as I don't like eating too early in the morning.

During weekends, I usually take my lunch at 9AM, too. Well, I take something light, like bread and coffee at around 7, then eat a full meal by 9. Weekdays though requires me to be early... I have to be in by 6AM, which doesn't give me enough time to fix breakfast.. I love your schedule, it allows you to eat breakfast at your own preferred time.

@jainaproudmoore Right. I'm not required to go to the office and I don't usually set meetings early in the morning unless it's something urgent or my people need me.

@toniganzon Wow! Awesome! And you get to hold your own time, too! So, skipping meals is never a problem to you.

It depends on my mood, most of the time I just buy something to eat and go cook it for myself.

I usually eat at home. I sometimes don't eat and rush out and do my errands. I like to eat something a bit light unless it's the weekend. On weekends I love bacon and eggs with pancake. When you don't have time though it's hard to eat at home.

That is totally true, Krissttina, it really is so hard to have breakfast at home when you have little time. That's usually the case during weekdays, yes? I read from someone's response about having breakfast while driving. If I'm driving, that might have been true to me as well. And, oh, I Iove bacon and eggs, too!

...and if I were driving, I might also be eating my breakfast while driving. I don't have much time to fix breakfast at home though.
