A Quiet Uneventful Day / myLot

I'm certainly not complaining about having a quiet uneventful day at home today. It was way too cold to go out and do anything plus the wind makes it feel even colder. I spent the day working on some craft projects. I would like to do a craft fair in the fall so I have been working on some Christmas things which seem weird since today we celebrated Groundhog day and many of us are looking forward to spring. Tonight we're having pork chops baked with sauerkraut, baked sweet potatoes and steamed broccoli. Hope everyone had a good day and I'm looking forward to the weekend....bet you are too!!

Starting now you'll have lots of goodies for the craft sale next fall. Your supper sounds good. I work with some Muslims, and they go to the mosque on Fridays, and their ladies auxillary sells food to them afterwards. I love some of their stuff, and had a co-worker bring me back a small meat pizza, a thyme pizza (which is SO delicious) and some fratire, which is basically like a panzerotti but filled with shredded onions and potatoes. I heated them up for supper, we both enjoyed them-plus I didn't have to cook!!!

Fall is a great time for crafts. Theres halloween, thanksgiving, christmas, new years and other things around it.

That sounds nice. What kind of crafts are you doing? I wanted to do some crafts with corks, but I finally had to get real with myself that I was never going to do them! I got rid of them.

Sounds a nice day for staying in and getting on with crafts then Marilyn. Havent done much today myself. The weather is fine here though, nice and sunny. Just a lazy day here. Enjoy your dinner and weekend coming.

I don't look forward to the weekend most of the time since it's the days of the week where I don't have total control of my schedule. I work in my dad's office on weekends.

I'm glad you stayed home and kept out of the cold. Your dinner sounds great! We just returned home from a quick dinner in town, since I got home rather late from my mani/pedi. Super news! The Ice Princess took second place in preliminaries and doesn't have to skate tomorrow!!!!! We are so thrilled for her!

Yes I do wait for weekends eagerly as get tired of working whole day. I had a good day at work. Not much work to do there today, came back early at home.
