The US lightning detecting techniques are amazing.

On 1st February, 2018, the US Weather Department made a presentation in Taj Bengal hotel, Kolkata on the tools used by US weather departments to detect lightning. It is a useful tool to prevent people from venturing out during lightning. It is only a detection tool, so generally the weather phenomenon cannot be stopped. Members from different infrastructure sectors attended the meeting to understand if those sectors can use the techniques.

The United States has a lot to offer. Although there needs to be further developments the United States will be on a path in which so many could be pleased about.

Actually the Indian airports had bought some of these tools from USA. The tools are costly and many other departments till now had not got them. But the tools are useful.
