My Idea Of A Perfect Retirement...

My idea of an ideal retirement is to spend the remaining days of my life in a place just like on what is depicted above in the picture... To take everything nice, easy and slow...from sunrise to sunset... To live my life one day at a time...the here and now... from moment to moment... One with Nature and God...One with Eternity itself... Picture credit: Pixabay.com What's your idea of a perfect retirement?

I like the "nice, easy, and slow" part of your list. I would like that, too. Also, one day at a time, etc... One with the Lord for sure... In a place where I could have time to myself.

@xstitcher Thank you my friend and wish we could have a good retirement...although I'm not yet retiring anytime soon.

A perfect retirement for me is living a life in a very simple way. Go home in my original home, try gardening and plantation, pursue my dream in " sewing" .

Not at all the same you have. I would be bored staying on an Island doing nothing all the day. I like to live in the countryside, but close enough to a city if I want to go out in the evening for a nice dinner or to visit shops.

What is my pension, that even I do not have the job yet? However, your idea is not bad! Do you still have several years to work before retiring?

@mandala100 some people do that, they go back home to their country. some become active in church. some do social work, especially if they had a good career. i guess your daughter will be based in hong kong or somewhere else if she chooses to study or work elsewhere.

@mandala100 It's a tropical island so you can expect the highest temperature to be around 35c and during winter lowest to 20c.

Sounds very lovely but I still have to work and make money for us to be comfortable so I do not dream about retirement because I feel it will never happen for me.
