My Reaction to 'the 2018 State of the Union' (Trump's speech AND people's reactions)

I watched 'a brief edition of the speech' (cut down from 90 minutes to 25), and I've seen a lot of the 'responses to it' (that of Senator 'Kennedy Jr. Jr. Jr.' , of Senator Bernie Sanders, etc.) And my judgment of the sum-total: it proves (among other things) that each individual has an equal part to play in their own future. A lot of the things President Trump said were 'not accurate' (I don't want to say they were "lies," but more 'incorrect guesses' ... the one that comes to mind is "that his was the highest-rated SOTU in history"---it wasn't, but there's no harm in thinking it might've been ... (I guess that's something The Press isn't "getting" ... that President Trump is more like a 'high-school gym-coach' (at least when he's talking to the public) than 'an accountant/economist' or 'a press-secretary' or 'a key witness on the stand.' The Press has to report on what people do & say (although they often go beyond boundaries and report 'what that means the people feel-like or intend-to-do or aim-to-gain), and has to report "accurate statistics" etc. (The President has no such responsibility to us! So his 'statistics' and his statements are more like a high-school coach telling the students that they're gonna score 'more points than ever!' and that 'they're the best ones the school has ever seen!')
