Whew, I've been gone a while. Months! Sorry. Nothing bad has happened--in fact, quite the opposite. I've just been busy working. The place I have been temping at offered me a full-time position, so that's good news! I will still be on temp status during my training period, but hopefully that won't be more than just a few more weeks. They have been really nice to me there, and I like the company a lot.
Also, I am still tutoring, and since I am working regular hours at my full-time job (8am-5pm), I am now tutoring at night, from about 545-745pm. So yes, I get home pretty late on those nights, and I am tired. So I don't generally have a lot of gumption to write. But it's the weekend, now, and I wanted to check in while I have some time off. I hope everyone has been doing well. I missed you!

@AliCanary That will definitely help. I'm sure you'll find a way to may it all work out.

Thank you, I will try to figure out how to fit MyLot into my schedule. My student is on spring break this coming week, so that should help a bit!

I'm very busy, but I think my sleep schedule is finally adjusted so that I can be more productive. Hopefully I will be able to drop in here more often.

It takes a lot of time, but it's so good to have money to pay the bills, and soon I think we can do some house repairs, too!

I wish I were more productive, too, but it is good to have interesting posts--can't just write 'potato potato potato', as they say :)

What subjects do you tutor? My girls used to do French and math when they were in college, and I found out my sister tutors on a regular basis too although I don't know what topics. I'd venture guessing math and science or chemistry our something like that.

I tutor English, writing, drawing, ACT test prep, history, sociology, and psychology. Next semester, I'm going to have to do Communications Law because my college student has to pass that class for her major, and it is going to be tough! I'm going to need to start studying that this summer so I can be more fit to help her.

I am busy! I'm getting used to my schedule now, though, so I'm not tired all the time. That was a problem in the beginning.
