Today I learned the guy I have a crush on is allergic to cats... I don't think this is going to work out.

Oh,that's really sad.Do you keep cats at your house?Does he even like cats?Well,to be honest,I don't think it's a big deal.The important thing is whether he likes cats.

He does like cats, he just can't be around them. I'm really giving up on pursuing him for his sake rather than mine.

Oh dear - now that is a shame! But there are plenty more fish in the sea - which might be an unfortunately analogy given what cats tend to do to fish!
